First post!

So it is! I'm intending this blog to be an aid to developing my knowledge of drinks. The plan is to focus predominately on wine, but there will be a few coffees and spirits in here. I will try to analyse flavours and presentation, whilst giving my own impressions. I am not a professional critic, this is just a bit of fun for me! And with all the legal rights flying around, I will be as neutral as I can be. Lets see if I am disciplined enough to keep this going...
